Women’s Health

Maintaining women’s health is one of the core missions of our clinic, and has been throughout its history. We offer a range of female-specific services to help maintain your health throughout life. If you would like to book an appointment or have any questions you need to ask, feel free to call us at 02 9221 1933.

PAP Smear

PAP smears work to detect the growth of abnormal cells that could potentially develop into cervical cancer. It is an easy test to detect one of the most preventable and curable forms of cancer, which still takes the lives of approximately 250,000 women every year.

Cervical cancer often does not present any symptoms in its early stages, making PAP smear the only suitable method for early detection.

Some risk factors for cervical cancer include some strains of the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and smoking.

Sexual Health

Sexual health is a vital part of everyone’s lifestyle. We offer general health checkups, as well as screening for STI’s, sexual health counselling, and contraceptive services.

If you would like more information, or simply have questions you would like to ask, please call us at 02 9221 1933.

Menopause Management

Menopause is an event experienced by every woman at some point and marks the end of their reproductive life. Physically, it involves a slowing down of hormone production in the ovaries and can be accompanied by many varied symptoms such hot flushes, reduced sex drive, dry vagina, headaches, mood swings, aches and pains, disturbed sleep, and many others.

It is very possible to manage these symptoms. If you would like to consult one of our doctors, give us a call at 02 9221 1933.

Breast Checks

Breast cancer remains the most common form of cancer in women, with 1 in 12 women experiencing it within their lifetime. With advances in early detection and treatment, patients now have a very good chance of surviving. It is important that any changes to the breast be examined and investigated by your doctor to check for cancer, or rule out other causes.
